Internet

Hello Again.

I informed many of you that ethernet would be installed last week some time. When Joe (the internet guy) started, he discovered that the electrician wired each apartment incorrectly and what would have taken a few hours has turned into a much bigger job. We have completed installing ethernet on three units but have run out of some of the necessary equipment and need to purchase more. (we bought them out previously, I am going to check tomorrow to see if more of what we need is now in stock.) it may be a few weeks before it is completely installed in every apt. If you have any problems with the wi-fi, please call Joe @ 208-346-0278.

I'm sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. If you are desperate to get ethernet installed in your apt, then e-mail me @ raspberryapts@gmail.com and I can move you to the top of the list.

Satellite TV

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!
The cable company, for some odd reason, does not service 177 S. 4th W. We thought the best course of action was to give those who did not care for television a discount on their monthly rent and purchase satellite for those who do want it. We called the satellite company and arranged for them to install Dish Network for those who wanted it. However, at the 11th hour, a problem arose of course! Dish Network would not allow us to carry the contracts for tenants because we are a business. Its against their policy. We decided to discount everybody's rent and just let those who wanted satellite to get it for themselves. Problem: Most of you are staying for around a year. Dish Network requires a 2 year contract.  And, written in each tenants lease it was stated that they would get television, and many people signed their lease expecting TV.
So here's the deal: our only option left was to purchase a bulk commercial account through Dish Network. It requires us to pay for at least 10 units. So, you're all getting television... It is scheduled to be installed this Friday the 21st.

Thanks,
Tyson
